The President of Germany, Mr. Joachim Gauck, Dr. Tony Tan Keng Yam, President of Singapore, and Ms. Quentin Bryce, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, sent messages of congratulations in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary.
Reports indicate that Administrative areas in the Central region have made ample preparations for carnival shows in connection with Independence Day observances.
The national holidays coordinating committee in Keren city indicated that the residents have finalized preparations for Independence Day observances.
