Reports indicate that Administrative areas in the Central region have made ample preparations for carnival shows in connection with Independence Day observances.

The National Association of the Blind has called for enhanced societal and stakeholder role in the rehabilitation of members. The Association  made the call at a meeting in Keren city, during which it was stated that it has been exerting stepped-up endeavors targeting the laying of groundwork to this end, besides promoting community concern regarding visually impaired nationals.

Reports indicated that the dirt road linking Akhrur, Hiebo and Adi-Qontsi villages with Segeneiti urban center has been renovated through popular undertaking which expected to continue with the tasks of soil and water conservation, as well as preparation of farmland.

The 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Eritrea and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) was commemorated yesterday at the Chinese Embassy in the presence of President Isaias Afwerki, senior Eritrean government and PFDJ officials, as well as invited guests.

The sub-zonal Administration of Debarwa stated that the town has registered significant development in line with the programs implemented over the past 22 years targeting improvement of the community’s livelihood.
