By Staff
Jun 27, 2005, 18:10

Over 2,500 Eritreans from all German cities today staged a big demonstration in Berlin, Germany, condemning the TPLF regime's non-compliance with the EEBC ruling and calling on the German government to take punitive action against the TPLF regime and compel it to abide by the Boundary Commission's decision.

The demonstrators specifically called on the German government to stop its assistance to TPLF regime which at present is beating the war drum to unleash yet another round of destructive war. Furthermore, they handed a petition signed by more than 6, 000 Eritreans to officials of the German Foreign Ministry. The petition was handed to Mr. Morel Ranier, head of the East Africa Desk in the Ministry.

The German Foreign Ministry official informed the demonstrators that he will hand their petition to the Government of Germany.
