Sport Festival of Eritreans in North America underway

Minnesota, 28 June 2005 –
The 20th sport festival of Eritreans residing in North America is underway as of June 26 in Minnesota, USA.
A total of 20 football teams 18 from North America and two from Germany and Sweden, are taking part in the Festival. Reports indicated that thousands of Eritreans from different parts of North America are watching the sport contests organized under the theme "Transition to the Youth."
Members of North America Sports Federation, in cooperation with the Eritrean community in Minnesota, are playing a major role in entertaining the guests. The sport festival will stay on till July 2.
