Tree seedlings planted and money donated in honor of martyrs

Asmara, 2 September 2005 - Around 30 staff members of Intercontinental Hotel Asmara have planted over 100 different seedlings at the Martyrs National Park, according to the Hotel's manager, Mr. Afwerki Kibreab. The employees of the Hotel have so far planted over 2,000 trees through a campaign they undertake twice a year.

Meanwhile, the branch of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia donated 4,134 Saudi Riyal, Mr. Tuemzgi Tsegai and his wife donated 20,000 Nakfa, Mr. Goitom Gile who resides in Holland 4,000 Nakfa and Mr. Tekle Teklemichael who lives in Kuwait 3,000 Nakfa towards boosting the Martyrs' Trust Fund.
