Improved electricity supply for Barentu town

Barentu, 3 September 2005 - A 1,000-Kilowat generator has been installed in Barentu with a view to meeting the growing demand of residents of the town for better electricity supply, according to the Eritrean Electricity Corporation.
There are also plans to distribute electric lines to the adjacent semi-urban centers of Mogolo, Areda, Shambuko and Tokombia.
