The struggler departs living behind a legacy of heroic feats

Our people were shocked on hearing the news of the death of struggler and freedom fighter Ali Seid Abdalla after heart failure that attacked him suddenly. The shock came because he had been one of the strugglers coming from the womb of suffering and agony of and extended strife for nationhood. In addition because Ali was one of those who had a high profile record in the arena of honor and dignity to set the scale of justice and truth even. It is an indisputable fact that our deceased veteran fighter had always been facing death credulously. This was demonstrated by his undertaking different and many national tasks putting in jeopardy and risk is life. However, due to his unique valor and the staunch confidence which he had for his people's cause until the day of his departure.

The late patriot  Ali Seid is considered one of the renowned nationalist who dedicated their youthful years for the cause of liberating their homeland from the yoke of colonialist suppression. He was one of those who deepened the forefathers' values of dignity and pride, and inculcated this in the youth who joined the ranks of the arm struggle by confronting the enemies. The values of the maleness and heroism need someone to make them a legacy  for the upcoming generations. The late veteran was such person to demonstrate and incarnate this noble values by his personal example.

In addition, our late veteran had been totally involved and preoccupied by love of homeland and sacrificing all for the national cause. He had also the inclination of taking sight transparency and openness in his general conduct. He was also characterized by the spirit of optimism even during the darkest faiths and difficult and turbulent times past by the Eritrean revolution as well as perseverance and staunchness before catastrophic situations.

The late veteran freedom fighter contributed amply to the victory realized by the EPLF on different arenas. He was also one of the members of the historical leadership that had  employed the Eritrean peoples humble resources for the realization of the biggest historical achievement on a worldwide level. The concept of leadership in the EPLF is dedication and self-denial for attaining the aspirations of citizens in freedom and emancipation from all types of oppression.

In this regard we renew our pledge to continue on the same trail of our dear martyrs, and to realize their dreams and aspirations establishing the pillars of peace, development and safeguarding the national values and principles for which they had dedicated their lives and struggle.
