For potable water supply to inhabitants of Kerkebet sub-zone

Efforts are underway through the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign in Kerkebet sub-zone of Anseba region to ease water supply problems for the local inhabitants. The project will benefit about 9 thousand people living in four villages in the area.

Previously, the local inhabitants were compelled to travel 4-6 hrs to fetch water which lacked hygienic standard. It is expected that the local population would have access to pure water for household use within the next three months.
