Eritrea’s Athletic Team in Athens to compete in the Olympic Games

The Eritrean National Athletic Team, currently in Athens to compete in the Olympic Games, is undergoing extensive training, according to Dimsti Hafash correspondent from Athens. The team consists of 4 athletes, a coach and others.

Athlete Zerisenai Tadesse will compete in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters. Yonas Kifle will also be on the 10,000 meters race, while Samsom Keflimariame and Nebiat Habtemariam will be contesting the 5,000 meters.

Coach Abebe Zerihuin accompanying the team said that the team is coping with the hot climate of the city and is in good physical condition.
