Eri-TV and Radio Service to Start Broadcasting to USA & Canada on Dec 15th, 2003

Eritrea Television
(ERI-TV) is the national public broadcaster of the state of
Eritrea, providing programming on current social, economic,
political, and cultural events in Eritrea as well as news and
entertainment in four languages: Tigre, Tigrigna, Arabic, and
English. Originating in Asmara, ERI-TV’s programming consists
of daily original 8-hour programming blocks repeated for the
benefit of those living outside the Eritrean time zone.
Dimtsi Hafash and
Radio Zara FM Subscribers of ERI-TV will also
enjoy two radio channels, Dimtsi Hafash and Radio Zara
FM.
Dimtsi Hafash currently broadcasts in nine different local languages
in addition to Amharic and Oromo.
Radio Zara FM focuses on news,
interviews, as well as regional and world music.
