Asmara Commercial School striving to nurture outstanding students

The Asmara Commercial School is striving to nurture outstanding and competitive students, according to Mr. Kebedom Tedla, director of the school. Asmara, 19 April 2010 - The Asmara Commercial School is striving to nurture outstanding and competitive students, according to Mr. Kebedom Tedla, director of the school.

He stated that experienced and qualified instructors are serving in the School which is playing vital role in the teaching-learning process. Mr. Kebedom pointed out that it provides a 2-year long certificate course to students in the Central region who completed 10th grade.

Noting that the participation of female students is quite commendable, he indicated that the students carry out internship in various places so as to enrich theoretical knowledge with practical skill.

Mr. Kebedom went on to say that there exists classroom shortage in the School and that there are plans to relocate it in Denden Secondary School, and thereby raise the number of student enrollment.

The Asmara Commercial School is currently providing education in 7 different fields of study to a total of 291 students, including 171 females.
