Agricultural Infrastructure Put in Place Creates Conducive Ground for Farmers to Enhance Endeavors

The putting in place of agricultural infrastructure on the part of the Government towards boosting production has encouraged individual farmers to enhance their efforts for registering still greater outcome, Stated Mr. Mahmoud Romodan, a hardworking farmer in Ginda sub-zone.
Ginda, 1 May2010 - The putting in place of agricultural infrastructure on the part of the Government towards boosting production has encouraged individual farmers to enhance their efforts for registering still greater outcome, Stated Mr. Mahmoud Romodan, a hardworking farmer in Ginda sub-zone.

Mr. Mahmoud, who expand farming activities on sloppy areas   in B’areza, Ginda sub-zone, indicated that he succeeded in putting more land under cultivation through hard work and innovativeness, along with continuous support of the Government and other concerned parties.

The local inhabitants told ERINA that Mr. Mahmoud is playing major role in stabilizing the market in the area regarding fruits and vegetables, besides creating work opportunity to a number of individuals.

The Administrator of the sub-zone, Ms. Amna Haju, also commended Mr. Mahmoud for building 12 km-long roads and constructing water infrastructure at his own expense. She also called on fellow nationals engaged in farming to emulate his example.
