Inhabitants of Bede laud endeavors to improve their lifestyle

The inhabitants of Bede, Gelalu sub-zone, commended the investment being made by the Government towards expanding equitable social service in the area which is bringing about noticeable improvement in their lifestyle.
Gelalu, 25 December 2010 - The inhabitants of Bede, Gelalu sub-zone, commended the investment being made by the Government towards expanding equitable social service in the area which is bringing about noticeable improvement in their lifestyle.

The inhabitants told ERINA that they have already become beneficiaries of potable water supply, health and education services that are a prerequisite for urbanization. The local inhabitants further explained that the investment being made in the development of remote areas fully attests to the correct policy being pursued to promote social justice.

The director of the Boleli Elementary and Junior school, Mr. Osman Ali Husein, said on his part that the newly constructed 8  additional classrooms, office, pond and restroom in the school are playing major role in facilitating the teaching-learning process.

Likewise, The Administrator of Bede, Mr. Hussein Omar Shahria, indicated that previously students used to pursue education in makeshift tents, which in turn negatively affected the teaching-learning process. At present,  however, the number of students, especially females in education is gaining momentum thanks to the vigorous endeavors being exerted to expand schools, he added.
