Elabered Agro-Industrial Plant creating job opportunity to inhabitants

The inhabitants of various administrative areas in Elabered sub-zone said that the reactivation of the Elabered Agro-Industry Plant is creating ample job opportunities to the public.
Elabered, 25 December 2010 - The inhabitants of various administrative areas in Elabered sub-zone said that the reactivation of the Elabered Agro-Industry Plant is creating ample job opportunities to the public.

They stated that the Plant which was reactivated by the Anseba regional Administration is progressing well and has already provided employment opportunity to veteran workers and new ones. The inhabitants went on to say that they have managed to lead a better life by working in the Plant.

The head of the labor office in the Plant, Mr. Ateweberhan Gebrai, indicated on his part that there are more than 400 employees, out of whom 230 are women. The number of workers is also expected to increase with the growth and development of the agro-industrial Plant.

The Elabered Agro-Industrial Plant which is being reactivated under the umbrella of the Anseba regional Administration is undertaking development programs focusing on fruits and vegetable farming, as well as production of tomato paste and milk.
