Eritrean communities in Qatar donated over 17,000 USD towards augmenting martyrs trust fund and drought combat, according to reports from the Eritrean Embassy in that country.

In a meeting held with teachers of Shambuko and Molqui sub-zones, it was stressed that teachers need to exert utmost efforts in their field so as to boost the government's efforts to provide quality education that meets international standards as well as promote productivity.

The Eritrean Center for Institutional Excellence gave  training to staff members of the Ministry of Transport and Communications on training methods and upgrading work performance.

A 20-kilo tumor has been removed from the abdomen of a mother by doctors in Keren Hospital.  The 40-year old Ms. Kedija Mahmoud from Mai-Awalid administrative area in Halhal sub-zone has been suffering from the tumor for the past 7 years.

The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch in the Central region offered a year-long training course on life skill to 63 needy nationals, out of whom 4 are hearing-impaired person at the Akria Community Center.
