10 villages in Dekemhare sub-zone, Southern region, have obtained electricity supply, stated Mr. Kibrom Temesgen, head of power supply distribution in Segeneiti and Dekemhare sub-zones.

Development projects in 2010, including the construction of schools, renovation of roads, as well as soil and water conservation in Nacfa sub-zone continue to gain momentum,  Mr. Desie Zemichael, head of Administration and Finance in the sub-zone, disclosed.

The construction of a micro-dam within Aligidir Agricultural Project is making significant role in enabling the farming community to harvest twice a year, and thereby improve their socio-economic wellbeing, stated Mr. Hadish Futsum, head of the project in Biddho Construction Company.
