The Eritrean community members in Los Angeles city, USA, celebrated the 22nd Independence Day anniversary with patriotic zeal.
The Eritrean community members in the Dutch city of Rotterdam and its environs have voiced staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas, and expressed readiness to back up the national development drive.
The Eritrean Ambassador to China, Mr. Tsegai Tesfatsion, has been assigned as Eritrea’s non-resident Ambassador to Australia, and presented credentials to Ms. Quentin Bryce, Governor General of Australia.
A number of viewers of the ongoing exhibition depicting the history of the armed struggle for independence said that it is groundwork for nurturing national values, and called on pertinent bodies to step up integrated efforts as regards organizing such event on bigger scale.
Youth PFDJ members in Germany expressed readiness to back up national development programs. They made the pledge at an assessment meeting, during which they discussed ways and means of reinforcing popular resistance against external conspiracies.
A total of 21 institutions and 6 Administrative areas in the Central region yesterday carried out carnival show involving a parade accompanied by marching band from Bar-Zilli area to Bahti-Meskerem square.
The 22nd Independence Day anniversary was observed yesterday with fervor at regional level in Keren city in the presence of Mr. Al-Amin Mohammed-Seid, Secretary of the PFDJ, Ministers, Military Commanders and religious leaders.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and President George Abela of Malta sent messages of congratulations in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary.
