The Symposium of the Ministry of National Development got underway in the port city of Massawa today.
The Administrator of Tessenei sub zone, Mr. Tekelbirhan Gebrewold disclosed that social services rendering institutions and development endeavors in the sub zone are making remarkable progress, which is in turn having a positive impact on the people’s everyday lives.
The Bidho association conducted its third conference from 28 to 29 March at the Orota Hall here in Asmara.
The Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Arefaine Berhe stated that large-scale agricultural projects have been implemented through massive investments in the past 20 years of independence in a bid to achieve food security.
The head of the Education Ministry’s branch in Northern Red Sea region, Mr. Yasin Mohammed, said that major achievements have been scored as regards expansion of schools and promoting active student participation in education over the past 20 years.
The symposium of the Ministry of Mining and Energy that had been underway in Massawa from 29 to 31 March under the theme, “ Eritrea- 20 Years of Dignity” concluded today.
