As part of efforts to strengthen the competence and competitiveness of the national media, the Ministry of Information has introduced various advertising programs that correspond with the expansion and development of the media outlets, according to Mr. Russom Fisehaye, head of administration and finance in the Ministry.

3 people were killed and 4 others sustained heavy injuries in a car accident along the Geleb-Keren road on February 11. The car carrying 13 passengers overturned around Rora Mensae in Zen administrative area while traveling from Geleb to Keren. The victims of the accident are currently receiving medical treatment in Keren Hospital.

The Halhale National Agricultural Research Institute is playing crucial role in producing select seeds, and thus boosting output towards achieving food security, according to Dr. Eyasu Gebretatios, director general of the Institute.
