A new high school and other additional 15 classrooms are under construction in Mendefera town at a cost of over 18 million Nakfa with a view to tackling shortage of sufficient secondary schools.
In an interview with ERINA, the Sultan of Rahaita, Denkalia sub zone, Mr. Abdelqadir Daud said that the cultivation of fruits and vegetables through irrigation in the area has changed the inhabitants' views regarding agricultural production.
