The farmlands put under cultivation through the initiative of the Sultan of Rahaita, Abdulqadir Daud in Foraj area is playing significant role in upgrading the experience of inhabitants of Rahaita on modern irrigation farming and creating work opportunity.

The newly constructed ponds in Shambko sub-zone have accumulated adequate amount of water owing to the good rainy season and are now in a position to render commendable service, stated Mr. Shewit Fishale, head of the branch office of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub-zone.

The residents of Asmara called on the service rendering institutions in general and administrations in particular to exert utmost efforts in disseminating accurate and full information on time in a bid to save unnecessary waste of time and energy.

In line with endeavors to expand equitable social services in all parts of the country, the task of   installing reliable electricity service in the semi-urban centers of Mogolo, Tokombia, Bushuku’a, Shambuko and Binbina has been finalized.

In a meeting with owners and employees of various service-rendering institutions, the Administrator of Tessenei sub-zone, Mr. Tekleberhan Gebrewold, stated that such institutions are duty-bound to provide efficient service and distribute domestic products at a fair price, thus creating favorable atmosphere for business.
