Eritrean Pavilion in Shanghai World Expo Attracts Visitors’ and Media Outlets Acclaim

The Eritrean Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010 is attracting acclaim on the part of visitors and a number of media outlets, according to reports.

Asmara, 1 May 2010 – The Eritrean Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010 is attracting acclaim on the part of visitors and a number of media outlets, according to reports.

At the World Expo, where over 240 countries, organizations and institutions are taking part, Eritrea is presenting display of the country’s history, cultural diversity, social and religious harmony, the prevalence of social justice and environmental sustainability, in addition to Asmara’s rich Arch-deco, art, national handicraft, tourism and other resources.  

The Eritrean Pavilion jointly organized by various Government and PFDJ institutions would stay for months, and Sibirt cultural troupe would present performances. The 19th anniversary of Eritrean Independence Day on May 24 is scheduled to be marked in the course of Shanghai World Expo 2010.
