Sel’a, 31 May 2010 - Rikeb semi-urban center in Sel’a sub-zone is registering speedy urbanization as a result of the service-rendering institutions put in place over the past years since independence, according to Mr. Mohammed Hassen Idris, the Administrator.

He explained that various development programs are being implemented in the area, in addition to the construction of housing complexes for residential and business purposes in accordance with the master plan of the semi-urban center.

Noting that the nomadic way of life of the inhabitants is gradually being transformed to permanent and developed pattern of living, Mr. Mohammed pointed out that there exist schools, magistrate courts, health center and potable water supply which are providing commendable service to the people.
