Training Offered To Area Administrators And Farmers In Shambuko Sub-Zone

Training was given to area administrators and farmers in Shambko sub-zone to boost agriculture productivity. The lecture focused on modern agricultural methods, soil and water conservation, promoting grazing land and preparation of animal feed, among others.
Shambuko, 16 July 2010 – Training was given to area administrators and farmers in Shambko sub-zone to boost agriculture productivity. The lecture focused on modern agricultural methods, soil and water conservation, promoting grazing land and preparation of animal feed, among others.

Mr. Bahlbi Goitom, an expert in soil and water conservation in the branch office of the Ministry of Agriculture in sub-zone said that the training was aimed at lecturing farmers to use select seeds which can resist shortage of rain and adopt climate change.

The farmers on their part expressed readiness to redouble efforts so as to promote their farming production.
