Youth Activity Assessment Meeting in Asmat

The youth of the Asmat sub zone held an activity assessment meeting and a discussion on the newly charted out action plan.

Keren, 08 October 2017 – The youth of the Asmat sub zone held an activity assessment meeting and a discussion on the newly charted out action plan.

At the meeting conducted in Asneda, it was pointed out that remarkable achievement was registered on strengthening the teaching and learning process, preventing harmful practices, constructing additional school classrooms, as well as on ensuring environmental sanitation throughout the sub zone.

In a speech he delivered, the Head of Political Affairs of the PFDJ in the Anseba region, Mr. Ahmed Tahir called on the youth to work on transferring national values and spirit of diligence to younger generation.

Head of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students (NUEYS) branch in the region, Mr. Azazi Bereketeab on his part, expressed expectation the youth play due role in implementing the set out development programs in their respective areas.

The National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students (NUEYS) branch in the Anseba region has around 3 thousand registered members including 855 females.
