More messages of congratulations

Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia,  President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Sheik  Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates sent messages of congratulations to the people and Government of Eritrea in connection with the 28th Independence Day Anniversary.

Asmara, 24 May 2019- Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia,  President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Sheik  Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates sent messages of congratulations to the people and Government of Eritrea in connection with the 28th Independence Day Anniversary.

The Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also sent similar messages of congratulations.

In their messages the leaders wished good health to President Isaias Afwerki and peace and prosperity to the Eritrean people.

In his message, Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed said that the peace agreement signed between Eritrea and Ethiopia has ushered in a new era in the relations between the two countries and that attests the high level visits and people to people exchanges over the past one year.  Dr. Abiy Ahmed also expressed confidence on elevating the relations of the two countries into a new height for the mutual benefits of both countries and peoples.

President Sahle-Work Zewde of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia also sent similar message of congratulation.

Likewise, President Mohamed Abdullahi of the Federal Republic of Somalia expressed confidence that the relations between his country and Eritrea will develop to the highest level in the mutual interests of the two brotherly countries.

In a letter the African National Congress of the Republic of South Africa sent, congratulated the people and Government of Eritrea with the positive development of peace emerging in the Horn of Africa.
