Eritrean community members residing in Holland express readiness to back up national development drive
Asmara, 8 November 2012 – Eritrean community members residing in Holland voiced readiness to back up the national development drive and demonstrate staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas. They made the pledge in connection with seminars during which a call was made for citizen entrepreneurs to become beneficiaries of the investment opportunities being created in the Homeland.
Mr. Solomon Mehari, head of Eritrean Consular Affairs in Holland, explained that the Eritrean people and their leadership could challenge external conspiracies upon pursuing the policy of self-reliance. He also pointed out that the nation-building process has gained momentum thanks to the prevailing active participation of nationals residing inside the country and abroad, and that hostile conspiracies would end up in utter failure.
The participants of the seminars on their part lauded development accomplishments being registered in the Homeland, and said that they would enhance participation in this regard. Moreover, Mr. Solomon gave extensive briefings as regards the Investment Conference that was conducted last August and the role of citizens, as well as future prospects to this end.
