Ministry implements various programs in Central region at 100 million Nakfa
Mr. Yosef Tesfai, head of the branch office, explained that more than 78 million Nakfa was paid in benefit scheme to 21,000 families of fallen heroes, besides the presenting of regular financial aid by nationals residing abroad to the respective families of martyrs. Moreover, he pointed out that 183 disabled inhabitants of Serejeqa and Gala-Nefhi sub-zones and more than 100 others have become beneficiaries of financial support and skill training respectively, while more disabled rural area inhabitants received saddle animals for transportation.
Furthermore, reports as regards the domain of labor disclosed that significant accomplishment was made in liaising employers and employees, in addition to the efforts exerted towards safeguarding workers’ rights.
In concluding remarks, the Minister of Labor and Human Welfare, Ms. Salma Hassan said that it has been enhancing endeavors in community sensitization with a view to popularizing the policy of self-reliance, and thereby raise the production capacity of citizens.
