Eritrean community members in Oakland city express satisfaction with new investment prospects in the Homeland
Asmara, 8 January 2013 – Eritrean community members residing in Oakland city and its environs, US, expressed satisfaction with new investment prospects in the Homeland. They voiced their appreciation at a seminar during which a number of entrepreneur community members said that they would make use of the opportunity.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Berhane Gebrehiwet, Embassy executive, explained that the Eritrean people and their leadership have made remarkable accomplishment as regards nurturing national values on the bases of unity and social justice, and that such accomplishment is a springboard to a prosperous nation. He further pointed out that the country is in a position to lay the necessary infrastructural facilities for investment despite the “no peace no war situation.”
Furthermore, Mr. Berhane indicated that the Government is striving to ensure national development in an equitable manner, and that the new investment prospects and outreach of social service facilities in the Homeland are among the accomplished goals.
The participants of the seminar expressed satisfaction with the briefings, and voiced staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas.
