Inhabitants of Tserona, Mai-Aini and Emni-Haili sub-zones laud labor support by EDF members
Mendefera, 8 January 2013 – The inhabitants of Tserona, Mai-Aini and Emni-Haili sub-zones lauded the labor support extended to them by EDF members in their respective areas in their farming and housing ventures, and said that such collaboration attests to the prevalence of exemplary harmony between the Eritrean people and the Army members.
At a banquet they arranged in honor of the Army members in Ona-Gobai area, the inhabitants expressed appreciation for the major role of EDF members in safeguarding the nation’s dignity and ensuring its development, and pointed out that such commitment bears out their pledge of upholding the trust of fallen heroes.
Among the inhabitants of Ona-Gobai village, Ms. Dehab Haile indicated that she is in a position to make bountiful harvest through the support extended to her by Army members in the course of the rain-fed farming season.
From the Administration of Ona-Watot Administrative area, Mr. Ahmed Mohammed and Mr. Jabir Omar explained that the role of EDF members in socio-economic activities of the locality has become significant, and voiced readiness to collaborate with them in return.
The Army members on their part said that assisting needy citizens is among the values cherished by the EDF, and expressed appreciation for the community members’ moral and material support.
