Visiting Chinese tourists voice impression with Eritrea’s tourism potentials
Massawa, 12 March 2010 - 13 Chinese tourists who conducted a visit in the Northern Red Sea region in group said that Eritrea is attractive to tourism as it is endowed with rich potentials in the sector, coupled with the prevailing peace and stability. In the course of the 3-day visit, the tourists visited the Serejeka-Shebah road constructed through the Warsay-Yikaalo Development Campaign, the Cement Factory being established in Gedem, the railway transport service and the coastline recreation center.
One of the visitors, Mr. Wien Cheng Ki, an IT expert, stated that Eritrea is a major tourism destination. He further explained that the development programs the country is implementing on the basis of internal resource are exemplary to other countries.
Still another Chinese tourist, Ms. Zieng Zao Rong highly appraised the hospitality of the Eritrea people and their spirit of hard work.
