Embatkala, 13 March 2010 – The Eritrean Center for Institutional Excellence gave  training to staff members of the Ministry of Transport and Communications on training methods and upgrading work performance.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony yesterday in Embatkala, the director of the center, Mr. Beyene Haile, indicated that the said Ministry, in collaboration with the Center,  has undertaken major managerial program as regards upgrading strategic planning that helps it to bring about a number of changes. The latest training is designed to help implement the action plan, he added.

Mr. Beyene further explained that in the course of the training, the participants prepared various papers focusing on training methods and improving work performance, mapping out a year-long action plan and the like. He went on to stress the paramount importance of training methods and improving work performance in Eritrean institutions so that they may cope with technological advancement.

The Eritrean Center of Institutional Excellence undertakes various studies, training and counseling in a number of sectors with a view to rendering speedy and efficient service.
