Doha, 14 March 2010- Eritrean communities in Qatar donated over 17,000 USD towards augmenting martyrs trust fund and drought combat, according to reports from the Eritrean Embassy in that country.

It was disclosed in the report that the Eritrean nationals donated 9,711 dollars towards the martyrs fund and 7,359 dollars to combating drought.

Similarly, Eritrean women residing in Australia and New Zealand contributed 1,300 dollars towards the martyrs trust fund in meeting they held in connection with March 8, International Women's Day.
