Eritrean Correctional And Rehabilitation Center Graduates 34 Members
Asmara, 14 March 2010 – The Eritrean Correctional and Rehabilitation Center graduated 34 of its officers and other members in primary law education on March 12, 2010.
During the graduation ceremony, Head of the Administration of the Center, Lt. Col. Woldezgi Oqbaselassie said that the training was aimed at upgrading the knowledge of the staff members on criminal law and regulations as well as international law. He added that such training would continue in the future noting the importance of widening awareness of the law.
One of the trainees, Mr. Berihu Woldegiorgis, indicated that the training would prove helpful in their work and highlighted the importance of the training in promoting the rehabilitation and correction services of the Center.
