Asmara, 27 May 2010 – President Nicolas Sarkozy of France and Queen Elisabeth II of the UK sent messages of congratulations to President Isaias Afwerki in connection with the 19th Independence Day anniversary celebrations.

In their respective messages, the two Heads of State wished President Isaias good health and peace as well as prosperity to the Eritrean people.
