Ministry Gives Training to Farming Community in Ginda Sub-zone
Ginda, 29 May 2010 - The Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Ginda sub-zone offered training to farmers with a view to raising their awareness regarding modern agricultural technology, and thus boost production.
The head of the branch office, Mr. Yohannes Woldemariam, indicated that the farmers from the administrative areas of Shebah, Metkel-Abet, Adi-Shuma, Gahtelai, Laelai and Tahtai Dengolo, Ginda, Mai-Haber and Demas took part in the training course. It focused on the overall handling of land resource, soil and water conservation, seed science, vegetable farming and the like, he added.
The participants stressed the significance of the training in raising productivity.
