Asmara, 15 August 2010 – 5th Central and Eastern Confederation of African Football Association (CECAFA) Cup under 20 which was officially opened yesterday at the Asmara Stadium continued for the second day.

Asmara Stadium hosted two games in the evening hours of today. The first match was between national teams of Yemen and Zanzibar in which Yemen lost to the latter 2-1.

Following this, national teams of Sudan and Somalia played and the game was finished with a result of 0-0.

It is to be recalled that Eritrean national team defeated its counterpart Tanzania 1-0 in yesterday's match.


National soccer teams of Eritrea, Tanzania, Sudan, Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, Rwanda, Zanzibar as well as a guest team, Yemen, are participating in the CECAFA Cup under 20 which would continue until August 28.
