Inhabitants of Molqi called upon to enhance contribution in the development process
Molqi, 16 August 2010 - In a meeting with the inhabitants of Molqi semi-urban center, Mr. Tareke Abai, head of development in the area, called on the local inhabitants to make coordinated endeavors in the task of collecting tax, judicious utilization of water resource and maintaining environmental sanitation.
He further indicated that it is the responsibility of every inhabitant to back up the mapped out reforestation program aimed at giving charm to the semi-urban center.
The Administrator of the area, Mr. Asgedom Mengistu, equally stressed the need for undertaking popular campaign towards renovating the damaged main and feeder roads.
Commending the development activities being undertaken in the semi-urban center, the local inhabitants highlighted the need for the introduction of telephone and electricity services.
