The training focused on general methods of teaching,   administration, preparations of teaching materials and teaching English language among others.

Ms. Genet Tesfatsion, director of kindergarten teachers’ training at Asmara Teachers’ Training Institute reminded the trainees to use the knowledge they have acquired responsibility. She also added that another 50 teachers are taking similar training.

The director of research and human development department in the Education Ministry, Mr. Petros Hailemariam on his part called on the graduates to play a significant role in teaching children.

Meanwhile about 165 elementary and junior teachers received certificates after completing three-month English language training.

During the graduation ceremony, the trainees presented an exhibition and artistic show.
