Kerkebet, 3 February 2012 – The inhabitants of Amalait semi-urban center, Kerkebet sub-zone, have obtained potable water supply.

The local inhabitants recalled that they used to encounter problems to obtain social services as they were living in scattered areas.  At present, however, the Government has launched a water project following their regrouping.

The water project thus launched involves digging and preparing  one kilometer-long pipeline as well as  the installation of two solar energy devices and two reservoirs with a capacity of holding 800 barrels of water, reports added.
