It started out with a handful of
teams and a few people 20 years ago as a way to compete in the world's most
beautiful game of soccer. It also served as a tool to maintain the Eritrean
identity & culture and also continue to be a source of inspiration and hope for
Diaspora Eritreans living in North America. We are talking about the Eritrean
Sports Federation in North America also known as ERSFNA. It has now been twenty
years since it's creation and the twin cities of Minnesota will host this year's
celebration.
The 20th year Anniversary of
Eritrean Sports Federation will be celebrated in the great Twin Cities of
Minneapolis/St. Paul. Starting June 26 thru July 3 of 2005, the federation is
making special preparations to make this year's event one of the best and
memorable events where families and friends meet and reflect on the great
history of our federation while enjoying the sports rivalry between the best
Eritrean teams in North America as well as from Europe. Make your summer plans
to be in Minnesota.
We will continue to remind you
to reserve your Hotel rooms early and we also urge all teams to register as
early as possible. Basket ball teams also should register early. The Federation
will have it's hands full to make this event the best ever and so we ask
everyone to help out with your responsibilities by making sure you have
registered.

on video. Contact your team members for more information or we can be contacted
to guide you to the right people. There will be special guests from different
parts of the world this year including Eritrea. So what are we waiting for?
