Ministry of Foreign Affairs deeply disturbed by the events of violence occurred in Tibet

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Eritrea is deeply disturbed by the events of violence occurred last month in Tibet.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly believes that Tibet is an inalienable part of the People’s Republic of China and that the Tibet issue is an internal affair of the PRC.
While condemning the violence and vandalism perpetrated by the rioters and the attempts to manipulate the unfortunate crisis for political ends aimed at sabotaging the Olympic Games, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Eritrea commends the civilized manner with which the Government of the People’s Republic of China handled the situation to restore order in the region and maintain national unity of the country.
